Just say yes? Teens not always honest about drug use

Researchers from Wayne State University and the National Institute on Drug Abuse found that when asked about their use of cocaine and opiates, teens often fudged their answers -- even though they knew they were being subjected to hair analyses that would prove they did use those drugs. \"The basic finding is that when teens were asked about their use of cocaine and opiates, they gave socially acceptable answers rather than being completely forthright,\" said Dr. Virginia Delaney-Black, a study co-author and professor of pediatrics at Wayne State.

Wayne State upsets sixth-ranked Hillsdale

Wayne State University knocked off the nation\'s sixth-ranked Division 2 team in Hillsdale, beating the Chargers, 14-9, in front of 2,720 fans at Adams Field on Saturday afternoon. It is the highest-ranked opponent Wayne State has ever beaten. Wayne State\'s only previous victory over a top-10 squad was a 25-14 triumph over ninth-ranked Michigan Tech in October 2005. \"It feels awesome,\" Wayne State coach Paul Winters said. \"We played great defense, and when we play great defense, we have a chance to win. I would rather play a game 14-9 than 40-35 every single day of the week. … We played great team defense.\"
