Wayne State Housing debuts two residential options reserved for medical students

Anthony Wayne Drive Apartments feature fully-furnished and modern homes for medical students.

Students enrolled in the Wayne State University School of Medicine now have two options for calling campus their home.

University Tower Apartments and Anthony Wayne Drive Apartments offer flexible eight-month or 12-month license agreements on floors dedicated to medical students, effective immediately. Both are competitive with off-campus housing rates and amenities.

There is no waiting period and students do not need to be approved to live on campus. To sign up and complete a license agreement, visit housing.wayne.edu/signup.

A $125 nonrefundable processing fee is required to submit a license agreement.

University Tower Apartments, or UT, features unfurnished one-, two- and three-bedroom units with full kitchen appliances and one or two private bathrooms.

University Tower Apartments offers one, two or three bedrooms.

“UT provides an ideal living environment, with two floors dedicated to medical students for convenient study sessions,” said Mario Channey, associate director of Marketing for WSU Housing and Residential Life. “Home to a diverse community of graduate students and families from across the globe, UT offers a unique and vibrant living experience.”

Childcare services and in-building laundry are available.
