Abstracts are now being accepted for the fifth annual Wayne State University Pediatrics Research Day, scheduled for April 30.
The theme of this year’s event, to be held in the Margherio Family Conference Center at the School of Medicine from 8 a.m. to noon, is “Pediatric Mental Health and Well-Being.”
The submission of abstracts on a wide range of topics, including those that may not directly align with the conference theme, is welcome. Submissions will be reviewed and considered for inclusion in the program based on quality, relevance and potential contribution to advancing knowledge and practice in the field.
Abstracts are limited to between 300 and 500 words, and must be submitted by Feb. 24. Submit abstracts here
This year’s keynote speaker is Jessica Schleider, Ph.D., associate professor of Medical Social Sciences and of Pediatrics and Psychology at Northwestern University. Dr. Schleider is the director of the Lab for Scalable Mental Health and of Digital Services at the Center for Behavioral Intervention Technologies.
