From helping students get involved with campus activities to ensuring their health and wellness needs are met, Wayne State offers a variety of resources to keep students thriving.
“We are thrilled to welcome our newest first-year, transfer, and graduate students to Wayne State University,” said Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Laurie Clabo, Ph.D. “This is an exciting time in their academic journey, and we are dedicated to providing the tools and resources to ensure their success both inside and outside of the classroom."
As you prepare for the new school year, here are 10 tips to help you start this semester Warrior Strong:
1. Meet with your advisor: “Meeting with your academic advisor is a crucial first step in your academic journey,” said Cheryl Kollin, senior director of student academic success. “From onboarding to graduation, they will support and challenge you, facilitate understanding of the curriculum, help with decision-making and goal setting, and be a champion for your success!”
