Wayne State University Board of Governors to meet Thursday, Jan. 26

The Wayne State University Board of Governors will hold its next meeting on Thursday, Jan. 26 in person in the Ballroom at the Student Center Building, located on the second floor, 5221 Gullen Mall.

The Board of Governors standing committee meetings — which are open to the public — convene at 9:45 a.m. with the Budget and Finance Committee and followed by the Personnel Committee at 11:15 a.m.

The Board returns for a public session at 3:30 p.m.

Wayne State University’s Board of Governors is one of three university-governing bodies in Michigan — including the University of Michigan and Michigan State University — that has constitutional independence. Its members serve eight-year terms and are elected by voters throughout Michigan.
