Warrior Return Summer Activities welcome Wayne State community to connect, celebrate on campus

As excitement about a vibrant fall semester continues to build, members of the Wayne State community are invited to celebrate the return to campus and build their Warrior pride through a series of fun, free summer events.

The weekly Warrior Return Summer Activities will be hosted on campus at Keast Commons and Gullen Mall from 4 to 8:30 p.m. beginning Friday, July 30. Each activity will include free WSU swag, food and parking in Lot 2. In the event of rain, activities will be moved indoors to the Student Center Building.

In addition to participating in social activities, students are invited to connect with representatives from academic advising, financial aid and student accounts receivable from 4 to 5 p.m.

The Warrior Return Summer Activities are open to all students, faculty and staff. Faculty and staff can also volunteer to help welcome students

“We’re so excited to welcome the Wayne State community — students, faculty and staff — to come to campus before the fall semester begins and start the excitement early,” said Dean of Students David Strauss. “The Warrior pride of our community is unmatched, and we can’t wait to connect and engage as a community again.”
