“We’re proud to highlight the innovative work happening on campus and in our community,” said Melissa Smiley, chief of staff and university relations officer. “The magazine is full of rich content that shows our prosperity agenda in action. We hope this publication will connect, excite and inspire those inside and outside our community to proudly share Wayne State’s story.”
The publication marks the first formal magazine collaboration between the Office of Alumni Relations and the division of University Relations and is aimed at connecting in a dynamic and consistent way with Wayne State’s broad set of stakeholders. In addition to the digital edition, a printed edition was mailed this week to nearly 62,000 alumni; business, educational and community partners; government officials; and friends of the university.
“The magazine is an impressive showcase for Wayne State and an important tool in cultivating relationships, igniting pride and expanding our reach among alumni and other key supporters,” said Lyndsey Crum, assistant vice president of alumni relations and executive director of the WSU Alumni Association.
