One of the positive things to come out of the pandemic has been the opportunity it provides members of the Warrior community to turn challenges into triumphs as they support the university’s mission.

Wayne State University will recognize individual faculty, staff and students — as well as employee and student groups — whose efforts are emblematic of the Warrior spirit during the June 25 Board of Governors meeting.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to nominate a Warrior or a group of Warriors who have stepped up during the COVID-19 pandemic to positively impact our community. Nominations will be accepted until 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 2.

This will be the third presentation of Profiles in Warrior Strong. The last recognitions were at the Board of Governors meeting on March 12.
