Wayne State to host national computer science summit

robot logoThe national computer science education community will convene Oct. 8-11 at Wayne State University for the second annual CSforALL Summit to celebrate progress and announce new commitments supporting the mission of computer science for students across the United States.

With a diverse gathering of stakeholders that includes more than 75 speakers, 25 exhibitors and an estimated 400 in-person attendees, the 2018 CSforALL Summit promises an inspiring atmosphere packed with thought-provoking presentations.

Wayne State community members are encouraged to visit the CS Expo on Monday, Oct. 8, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. to see the latest in computer science education programs. Meet Danielle Feinberg, director of photography and lighting at Pixar Animation, at the CSforALL photo booth from 2:30-3 p.m., and enter a prize draw at 3 p.m.

While the CSforALL summit is invitation only, the campus community is invited to register for the free livestream of the event.
