Cass Avenue between Warren Avenue and Kirby Street will be closed from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. from Monday, July 30, until Friday, Aug. 17.

The full closure is in support of DTE Energy Co.’s underground electrical duct bank construction required to convert Wayne State University buildings from Detroit Public Lighting Department to DTE electric service. During the closure, it is recommended traffic use Woodward Avenue as a detour.
