Third annual gala to fight preterm birth to be held May 13

Comedian Louie Anderson will headline the third annual anniversary celebration to benefit Make Your Date, a regional program developed to combat preterm birth in Detroit.

Comedian Louie Anderson will headline the third annual anniversary celebration to benefit Make Your Date, a regional program developed to combat preterm birth in Detroit. The event will be held May 13 at the Fillmore in Detroit, with Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan serving as honorary chairman of the gala fundraiser. Wayne State University, the Detroit Medical Center, the city’s leading health systems and other key partners designed the initiative to help expectant mothers deliver healthy full-term babies.
