Detroit Tigers Winter Caravan to stop at the Max M. Fisher Music Center

The Detroit Tigers Winter Caravan will stop at the Max M. Fisher Music Center from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19. Attendance is free and open to the public.

The Winter Caravan — a two-day journey routing Tigers executives, coaches and players throughout the state — will stop at The Max as part of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s opening day of Mozart Fest, a three-week celebration dedicated to the prolific composer.

While at The Max, Al Avila, executive vice president of baseball operations and general manager, and Tigers players will tour Orchestra Hall and present a framed jersey to the DSO in honor of Mozart’s 261st birthday. The DSO will also highlight its piano sonata marathon during a brief show and tell with a performer and a Tigers player. The event will conclude with a Q&A with Tigers personnel, followed by a raffle.
