Wayne State University President M. Roy Wilson and Provost Keith Whitfield have announced the creation of the Office of Scientific Training, Workforce Development and Diversity (STWD) in order to develop a strong and diverse scientific research workforce. Ambika Mathur, dean of the Graduate School, will lead the office.
