In the nation's first study of homelessness in college students, Wayne State researchers have found that unstable housing has a negative impact on students with respect to health, stressful events and other areas of their lives. The study, "The Prevalence and Needs of Homeless Undergraduates at a Large, Urban University," describes and compares groups of Wayne State students who have experienced homelessness, precarious housing and stable housing in the previous year.
