Wayne State Insiders presents Warriors in Action: Environmental Engineering

Join the Wayne State Insiders at the College of Engineering from 12 to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, to learn about Warriors in Action

Join the Wayne State Insiders at the College of Engineering from 12 to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, to learn about Warriors in Action impacting the environment in Michigan and throughout the world.

Hear from Shawn McElmurry, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering and expert in infrastructure, sustainable development and pollutants in surface water systems, and Carol Miller, professor of civil and environmental engineering, who will talk about her work in initiatives to promote healthy freshwater ecosystems in urban environments.  

Attendees will also meet students working on research projects in these and other environmental fields.

The Wayne State Insiders group includes alumni, friends, students, parents, faculty and staff who serve as informal ambassadors for Wayne State and the Midtown community. Since the group's inception in 2012, thousands have attended events and toured sites on campus.
