Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day will be observed nationally on Thursday, April 28. To celebrate, special programming is planned for Wayne State Insiders and their families.

This year's theme is "Sparking Aha! Moments."

Children ages 5 to 18 will be able to participate in a variety of fun and engaging  activities - from a planetarium show and lab visits to campus tours and lunch at the Towers Café - between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Reserve your spot and bring your future Warrior to campus for a day of inspiration and aha moments. You must be present with your child and will need to sign a waiver for fitness participation.

RSVP is encouraged. For more information, call 313-577-4663 or email a.roberge@wayne.edu.

Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work encourages girls and boys across the country to dream without gender limitations and to think imaginatively about their family, work and community lives. This national, public education program connects what children learn at school with the actual working world.

The Wayne State Insiders group includes alumni, friends, students, parents, faculty and staff who serve as informal ambassadors for Wayne State and the Midtown community. Since the group's inception in 2012, thousands have attended events and toured sites on campus.
