Michigan commuters to see more of WSU in bold green and gold

The Office of Marketing and Communications has launched a new outdoor media campaign designed to build pride and awareness of WSU.  The university is celebrating

The Office of Marketing and Communications has launched a new outdoor media campaign designed to build pride and awareness of WSU. 

The university is celebrating Detroit as its headquarters — right here, in the heart of Midtown.

Look for the billboards along major highways from Detroit to Grand Rapids and even as far north as Mackinac City. The campaign is aimed at prospective and current students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors and employers and will continue through September 2015. 

“Wayne State is a premier urban research university in the heart of Detroit and we want everyone to know it,” says Michael Wright, vice president for Marketing and Communications and chief of staff. “We’re building on the success of the Aim Higher campaign and continuing to raise the stature and reputation of WSU.”
