Michigan bans sale of caffeinated alcoholic drinks

The Michigan Liquor Control Commission on Thursday banned the drink Four Loko and dozens of similar alcoholic drinks from being sold in the state. Dr. Tsveti Markova, Wayne State University's Physician's Group in the Department of Family Medicine, said the drinks are dangerous because they contain stimulants and depressants.
