Women who lack sex drive have different brains, say US scientists

Women who have a low sex drive could now have a scientific explanation for their lack of desire, according to a Wayne State University study led by Dr. Michael Diamond. Women with a low libido have distinct patterns of brain activity compared to those with a healthy sex drive suggesting that a long-term lack of interest in sex is not just all in the mind. Wayne State's Dr. Michael Diamond said that his study offered "significant evidence" that the controversial condition does exist as a physiological disorder, rather than being purely psychological.
