Antifungal drug can curb yeast infections

The Times ran a short version of an AP story about a treatment for yeast infections that cites Dr. Jack Sobel, chief of infectious disease at the WSU School of Medicine. He led a study involving 387 women suffering from the ailment. The study found that a drug called fluconazole is and effective treatment.
