The Center for Legal Studies at Wayne State University will offer a luncheon lecture series at noon in McGregor Memorial Conference Center beginning in November.
The schedule follows;
* Wednesday, Nov. 5 - "What Ever Happened to Sovereignty? Reflections on Human Rights Implementation," Brad Roth, Center for Legal Studies;
* Wednesday, Dec. 3 - "Interdisciplinary Approaches to Foster Care," Allen Goodman, economics; Bruce Friedman and Stuart Forman, Social Work;
* Wednesday, Jan. 21 - "Domestic Violence in Black and White: Racialized Gender Stereotypes in Gender Violence," Zanita Fenton, Law;
* Thursday, Feb. 26 - "Johnson versus McIntosh and the Efficient Expropriation of Amerindian Lands," Eric Kades, Law;
* Monday, March 16 - "Crackpot Science in Legislatures and Courts," Susan Fino, political science; and
* Wednesday, April 8 - "Toward Moral Justice: Community Relief and Constitutional Regeneration in the Trans-Appalachian West, 1818-1830," Sandra VanBurkleo, history.
