The application deadline for proposals to the Richard J. Barber Fund for Interdisciplinary Research is Friday, Oct. 31.
The fund, established in 1992, provides support to WSU faculty for scholarly research on projects involving law and other academic disciplines.
The fund was established to encourage scholars to collaborate across disciplinary boundaries. Preferences will be given to projects with two or more faculty from different disciplines.
Recent awards include studies on approaches to foster care, community relief and constitutional regeneration in the trans-Appalachian west, juror decisions and standards of care concerning drinking behavior, and testimony credibility among child sexual abuse victim witnesses.
