Coronavirus: The latest medical campus updates and reopened spaces

As the Wayne State University School of Medicine begins to restart its on-campus operations, the reopening of departments and buildings will follow a phased approach based on the guidance of the School of Medicine restart committee. An online guide detailing the status of medical campus buildings and departments is now available, and will be updated accordingly as changes are implemented.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Effectively immediately, you only need to SCAN IN with the QR code from your daily screener. SCANNING OUT of buildings (see link above for details) is no longer required.

“The health and safety of our students, staff and faculty are very important to us and so we require that you do the following at all times while you are in campus,” said Dean Mark E. Schweitzer, M.D.

  1. Follow social distancing, wear a face covering and wash your hands frequently
  2. Complete the Be Warrior Safe course, by clicking on this self-enrollment link
  3. Complete the daily screener and be cleared to enter the buildings
  4. Follow the room set up and capacity guidelines posted at all room entrances
