WHAT: More than 3,000 Wayne State University students will graduate this spring and participate in the institution’s annual commencement ceremonies. Honorary degree recipients include Dr. Larry Brilliant, Jamie Jacob and Denise Jacob, Ph.D.
WHEN: The ceremonies will be held April 30-May 2. See below for a full commencement ceremony schedule. Each ceremony will last approximately 60 to 90 minutes.
Media credentials and advance check-in are required. Media representatives planning to attend the ceremonies should RSVP by emailing Katie McMillan at gg1806@wayne.edu or calling 586-344-8878.
WHERE: Wayne State Fieldhouse, 1290 W. Warren Avenue, Detroit
PARKING: Complimentary parking will be available in Lot 50, located at 1200 W. Warren Avenue, and Structure 2, located at 5150 John C. Lodge.
STREAMING: A livestream of the celebrations will be available for viewing on the commencement website during each ceremony.
