The Wayne State University Board of Governors will hold its next meeting on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024 in person in the Ballroom at the Student Center Building, 5221 Gullen Mall, Detroit, MI 48202.
The Board of Governors standing committee meetings — which are open to the public — convene at 9 a.m. with the Academic Affairs and Student Affairs Committee followed by the Budget and Finance Committee at 10 a.m. and the Personnel Committee at 10:45 a.m.
The Board returns for a public meeting of the full board at 3 p.m.

Wayne State University’s Board of Governors is one of three university-governing bodies in Michigan — including the University of Michigan and Michigan State University — that has constitutional independence. Its members serve eight-year terms and are elected by voters throughout Michigan.
