Wayne State publishes latest edition of Warriors community engagement magazine

Wayne State University this week published the latest issue of Warriors, the university’s community engagement magazine, with WSU Board of Governors member and Detroit native Bryan C. Barnhill II gracing the publication’s cover.

The digital version of the publication can be found here: warriorsmagazine.wayne.edu/issue/fall-2022/

The latest issue brims with feature stories and news items directly related to the university’s community engagement mission and its multifaceted role in community uplift programs throughout the metro Detroit area. Stories include colorful profiles on Barnhill and alumna and pioneering Ford Motor Co. car designer Emeline King; a close look at the brand-new, critically important Warrior 360 student success initiative; and a revealing interview with Donovan Roy, the new vice dean of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at the WSU School of Medicine, about the importance of diversity in shaping the future of medicine locally and nationwide.

In addition to the digital version, Warriors subscribers will receive a 40-page print version of the magazine.
