First-year students encouraged to complete survey about the HPV vaccine

Wayne State has a strong history of studying and promoting public health and seeks to better understand first-year undergraduate students’ perspectives on vaccines—specifically on the Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine (“Gardasil ®”).

All first-year/freshman students are invited to share their experiences and opinions regarding their HPV vaccine status. This survey is open to all first-year students — including if you have not been vaccinated against HPV.

Take the survey here!

The anonymous survey, which will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete, is hosted in collaboration between researchers at WSU’s Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences alongside University of Michigan’s College of Pharmacy. This information can be used to develop intervention and education programs tailored to students in these areas to improve HPV vaccination rates. If you complete the survey you will be eligible to be entered in a raffle for a $25 gift card. In order to keep the survey information anonymous, you will have to provide your name and email information to a separate website (linked at the end of the survey) to be entered in the raffle.

Thank you for considering to complete the survey.
