The lobby of Wayne State’s new STEM Building is now home to five nearly 4,000-pound Escofet Twig backless benches for visitors to relax on. The cast stone furniture was made in Barcelona, Spain and moved in late last year using heavy equipment. Escofet has been producing concrete elements for public spaces and buildings in Europe since 1886.
