Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) funding available

The winter-spring/summer 2021 funding cycle is now open and accepting applications and proposals through Friday, Nov. 20. Please visit urop.wayne.edu/award for more information and to apply for funding.

An additional funding opportunity for spring/summer-fall 2021 will be offered. That application will be available Feb. 12 with an application deadline of March 12.

UROP strongly encourages all undergraduate students to apply to present their research or creative project at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). The conference will be held virtually, and the UROP program will pay the registration fee for any Wayne State undergraduate student who is accepted. The deadline to apply is Dec. 1. Please visit cur.org/what/events/students/ncur/2021 to learn more and to submit your abstract.

Warrior Scholars: The Wayne State University Conference for Undergraduate Research and Creative Work was canceled last spring, but all students who would have presented at that event are eligible to apply to present at NCUR with the UROP program covering the registration fee.
