The Division of Enrollment Management has named Kelly Driscoll as its new director of communications. Driscoll joins the division from the College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts (CFPCA), where she worked in the areas of student services and new student recruitment for the past eight years.

During her time in CFPCA, Driscoll served as co-producer for the college’s EMMY Award-winning promotional video, which highlighted the college’s current “Be Inspired” marketing campaign. Driscoll will begin her new role in March.

“We are thrilled to have Kelly Driscoll join the enrollment management division to help us build better communication channels with incoming and current students,” said Dawn Medley, associate vice president of enrollment management. “We’ve seen growth in our interactions with students. While we have been able to use some agencies and our marketing team for portions of this work, we know that having an experienced Wayne State leader working across campus to build out these messages and plans will serve us well as we try to make the business of going to college easier.

"Given Kelly’s institutional history and her previous success as a member of an award-winning team in CFPCA, we know that she will bring an expanded dimension to this critical role.”

Driscoll is a graduate of Wayne State University with a master of fine arts in arts management. She earned her bachelor of art from Western Michigan University.

“I am excited to make this transition and further my reach with current and prospective students at Wayne State,” Driscoll said. “I’ve had the opportunity to work with students in a variety of different capacities, and I feel that I will bring a unique perspective to this position.”
