Help students end the semester Warrior Strong by supporting the Study Center takeover

The Student Center Building will transform into the “Study” Center on Monday, April 22, to help students prepare for the end of the semester. A series of events and activities are scheduled throughout the day, focusing on helping students de-stress and get ready for final exams. These free activities include chair massages, peer-led study sessions, a silent dance party, zen-den, coffee and canvas, and more.

There are many ways the faculty and staff can help support the second annual Study Center event, including writing a positive message, volunteering and spreading the word.

  • Write a good luck message

During the day, volunteers will distribute granola bars to students with personal notes attached. We are asking faculty and staff to write individual messages for these “Granola Grams,” wishing a student good luck or offering words of encouragement. Feel free to stop by the Student Center Information Desk to write a Granola Gram, or request Granola Gram labels here.

  • Volunteer

Volunteers will be needed throughout the day to assist with checking in students for events and passing out Granola Grams. Faculty and staff are encouraged to sign up by Friday, April 19.

  • Spread the word

Faculty and staff are encouraged to make a brief announcement about the Study Center event during your next class or student meeting. You can also share the event page with your students.
