Wayne State University basketball to host Teal Out for sexual violence prevention awareness

WHAT: The Wayne State University community will rally behind its men’s and women’s basketball teams as they take on the Ashland Eagles during the third annual Teal Out on Thursday, Feb. 1. Teal Out, hosted as a collaboration between the Dean of Students Office, the Campus Activities Team and the Department of Athletics, will bring awareness to sexual violence prevention. Teal is the color of sexual violence prevention, and all attendees will receive a free long-sleeve teal shirt promoting social responsibility and awareness. 

WHEN: Tipoff for the women’s game is 5:30 p.m. The men’s game will begin at 7:30 p.m.
