WHAT: Wayne State University’s Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences — in collaboration with Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, Henry Ford Health System, the City of Detroit Health Department, and Interfaith Health and Hope Coalition — is offering free immunizations to children 18 years old and younger.

In addition, there will be some vaccines available for adults as well, including Tdap, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Pneumococcal, HPV, and MMR. Adults must be uninsured and/or meet certain criteria.

WHEN: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26

WHERE: Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church parking lot at 2080 W. Grand Blvd., Detroit, MI 48208

MORE INFO: Parents/guardians who plan to attend should bring picture ID and an insurance card (if insured). If from out of state, please bring any immunization records available. Vaccines offered are all licensed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and are recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
