What:
Wayne State University administrators, faculty and staff will welcome new students and their families to the university's 149th academic year during the New Student Convocation.

More than 2,000 incoming students and family members are expected to attend.

FestiFall, a lively outdoor celebration where students can share a picnic lunch and mingle with deans and faculty members while learning about Wayne State's vibrant campus life, will be held immediately following Convocation.

When: 
Tuesday, August 30, 2016
10:30 a.m. - New Student Convocation
11:30 a.m. - FestiFall  

Where:
Convocation will be held in the Max J. Pincus Court in front of the McGregor Memorial Conference Center, 495 Gilmour Mall, Detroit, Mich. 48202. FestiFall will take place on Gullen Mall.
