Four education scholars will present their research during the Wayne State University Alumni Association’s Arthur L. Johnson Urban Perspectives Lecture Series.
The free event is titled: “Academic Perspective: Research on Urban Education”
Featured speakers include:

- David Arsen, professor of education policy and K-12 educational administration, Michigan State University
- Gary Miron, professor of educational leadership, research and technology, Western Michigan University
- Thomas Pedroni, associate professor, curriculum studies and program coordinator, schooling and society, Wayne State University

The Arthur L. Johnson Urban Perspectives Lecture Series, named in honor of the late civil rights leader and Wayne State University administrator, was established by the alumni association in 1992 and continues to offer topical and timely discussions on issues facing urban areas in the state of Michigan. Topics include politics, business, law, education and the arts.
