The "30 Americans" exhibit at the Detroit Institute of Arts showcases works by many of the most important African-American artists of the last three decades. During the next Knowledge on Tap, art history Assistant Professor Samantha Noel will give context and examine the ways in which the exhibit is reflective of what's happening in culture today and how it tackles relevant issues amongst black Americans and Americans in general.
