WHAT:
Wayne State University's Alumni Association is honoring the achievements of six outstanding alumni and faculty during an awards program and tailgate preceeding the WSU Warriors vs. Grand Valley State University Homecoming football game. As part of the halftime festivities, award recipients will be recognized.
2015 alumni honorees include:
• Joique Bell '12, Detroit Lions running back (Homer D. Strong Award)
• Ed Christian '73, Saga Communications founder (Distinguished Alumni Award)
• Katherine Cockrel '07, associate vice president at Finn Partners (Recent Alumni Award)
• Nancy Kaufman '79, Kaufman's Children's Center founder (Distinguished Alumni Award)
• Dale Thomas, Detroit Fellows Tutoring Project (Faculty Service Award)
• Marcella Verdun, Detroit Fellows Tutoring Project (Faculty Service Award)

Reservations are required. Cost is $10 per adult and $5 per child. Ticket price includes a tailgate-style buffet, awards program and game ticket. Complimentary parking is available in Lot 50.
