The Office of International Students and Scholars invites the campus community to kick off autumn with its 45th annual Global Festival and Study Abroad Fair.

Get a taste of the world from the center of campus from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Gullen Mall. The event, which attracts thousands of students and residents each year, showcases and celebrates cultural diversity on campus and in the community.

More than 14 student organizations and local vendors will be on hand with international fare and goods for sale. Several other groups will offer free food tastings and demonstrations.

The Study Abroad Fair is a must-attend event for those interested in international learning opportunities. The office will debut several new programs in Brazil, Portugal, Spain, New Zealand and other locations around the world.

Wayne State offers study abroad programs for as short as a week or for as long as a full academic year. The programs are open to students in most majors and years of study and even to non-WSU students.
