On Sept. 15, before a capacity crowd in the Student Center Ballroom, Wayne State President M. Roy Wilson unveiled "Distinctively Wayne State University," a five-year strategic plan laying the foundation for strategic focus areas and core values for 2016-21. The plan includes vision and mission statements based on the following core values: collaboration, innovation, excellence, diversity and inclusion, and integrity.
