Wayne State is serious about welcoming and celebrating students. This year, the university is going all out, hosting nearly two dozen events across campus during Warrior Days, held Sept. 14-19. The excitement kicks off Monday with the Future Alumni Network photo and craft station and concludes Friday with a football game after-party.

While some events and activities are intended for students, there will be plenty of opportunities for faculty and staff to celebrate the new semester.

The campus community is encouraged to attend the annual University Address with President M. Roy Wilson on Sept. 15. The event precedes the highly anticipated Student Center Building Grand Opening and second annual Taste of Detroit.

“Our goal is to welcome students and inspire Warrior pride. This is an opportunity to showcase our campus and all that the Midtown community has to offer,” said Mario Chaney, Warrior Days project manager. “We encourage all alumni, students, faculty members and employees to participate.”
