WHAT:
After years of intense studying and clinical rotations in and around Detroit, the more than 275 men and women who make up the Wayne State University School of Medicine Class of 2015 will earn the title of doctor. Their next step is residency, and a whopping 49.6 percent will begin one in Michigan next month, great news for a state with a projected physician shortage, as studies show that residents who train in Michigan often remain here for the majority of their careers.
