Wayne State University commencement ceremonies to be held Thursday, May 7

WHAT:
More than 3,800 students will graduate from Wayne State University during two commencement ceremonies.

WHEN:
10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Thursday, May 7, 2015.

WHERE:
Ford Field, 2000 Brush, Detroit.

Honorary degrees will be bestowed upon:

Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, during the 10 a.m. ceremony. 

Gerald Ellis Rosen, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, during the 4 p.m. ceremony.

Both will receive the honorary doctor of laws, honoris causa, for their years of service and dedication to the metro Detroit community and beyond.
