Brain Day Detroit at the Michigan Science Center

DETROIT - Learn how your brain impacts your senses, how it develops and changes as you age, how it works together with your eyes, and much more at Brain Day Detroit, held March 21, 2015, at the Michigan Science Center.

Budding scientists will enjoy many interactive activities, including crafts and games that demonstrate the brain's plasticity, anatomy, function and more. Guests will have the chance learn amazing brain facts, talk to real neuroscientists and even hold a human brain.

The special event is hosted by neuroscientists at Wayne State University and the University of Detroit Mercy in partnership with the Michigan Science Center, the Society for Neuroscience and The Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives. It will be held from 10a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Michigan Science Center, located at 5020 John R in Detroit. Admission to the event is free with regular paid admission. 
 
The event is organized by Wayne State University faculty and students.
