The College of Education and the family of Professor Emeritus Leonard Kaplan will celebrate the newly launched Leonard Kaplan Education Collaborative for Critical Urban Studies during an inaugural lecture on Thursday, Nov. 20. David E. Kirkland, activist, educator, and Detroit native, will deliver the keynote address.
