President M. Roy Wilson will update the campus community on the state of the university and present his vision for the coming year during the annual University Address, which will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12.

The hour-long event will be held in the Law School’s Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium. Overflow viewing will be available in the atrium area outside of the auditorium and the event will be webcast live at wayne.edu/live. An ice cream social will be held afterward on Gilmour Mall. 

During his address, Wilson will highlight Wayne State’s strategic planning process, which was officially launched on June 10, 2014.
