Looking for a bite to eat around campus and not sure when or where to dine? Don’t worry. There are several options available — even during construction.
The university is taking the time this spring/summer to renovate and upgrade several dining facilities. In addition to revised hours, some restaurants and cafés are operating in temporary locations.
In the Student Center Hilberry Rooms B and C, there is a temporary dining hall set up to meet the needs of students, faculty, staff and guests while the Towers Café is being renovated. Once it reopens in late June, the café will have new seating areas, a brick pizza oven, a Mongolian-style grill and improved all-you-care-to-eat dining areas.
Panda Express recently joined the Wayne State community, bringing grab-and-go Asian cuisine with health-conscious menu offerings to campus. Nearby, Tony V’s Tavern also recently celebrated its long-anticipated opening.
