If you can’t wait for Wayne State’s farmer’s market to return, SEED Wayne has you covered.

The organization and Detroit’s own Brother Nature Produce are partnering to give WSU faculty, staff and students a jump-start on the harvest season. 

Every Wednesday, from April 30 to May 28, Brother Nature will offer half-pound bags of mixed salad greens, available for pick up at the SEED Wayne office in the Faculty Administration Building. 

Those interested in purchasing bags of the mizuna, arugula, baby chard and mustard greens mix should sign up in advance by emailing k.pothukuchi@wayne.edu.

Priority will be given to those who pre-pay for all five weeks. For more information, visit clasweb.clas.wayne.edu/seedwayne. 

The 2014 Wednesday Farmers Market starts June 4 and goes through October 28.
