Wayne State's successful new speaker series is back for another round on Thursday, March 20.  Physics and Astronomy Professor Claude Pruneau will present “Perils from Space! How the dinosaurs disappeared and so could we... and what we can do about it.”

The event takes place at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 20 at Traffic Jam and Snug, located at 511 W. Canfield St., Detroit, MI 48201. Presentation begins at 6 p.m.

Knowledge on Tap consists of live — and lively — discussions with some of Detroit’s greatest minds. The events are held every other month at various Midtown restaurants and bars and feature an informal presentation by one of Wayne State’s renowned faculty members on a topic of their choice, followed by dynamic conversation.

Upcoming topics include everything from local history, space exploration and medical breakthroughs to art, poetry and urban archaeology.

All Knowledge on Tap events are free, open to the public and require no educational background. All ages are welcome.
