Wayne State University welcomes prospective students during open house events

Prospective students will have an opportunity to explore the campus and speak with admissions counselors and program representatives during Wayne State’s Spring Open House on Saturday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Faculty, staff and alumni are encouraged to invite relatives, friends and neighbors to WSU for the free event.

Visitors will have a chance to:

  • Learn about WSU’s academic programs.
  • Look into the Honors Start programs, which offer a leap ahead to highly qualified students interested in medicine, business, engineering or health sciences.
  • Meet current students for firsthand details about living and learning on campus.
  • Talk to representatives from financial aid, housing and several other campus departments for a heads up on getting started.
  • Go on a campus tour to check out the classrooms, libraries and residence halls.

Prior to the main campus open house, Wayne State University’s Transfer Student Success Center and Schoolcraft College will host the Schoolcraft to U Open House from 4:30 to 7:30 on Tuesday, March 18. This event is open to those interested in learning about WSU degree programs that will be offered at the new Schoolcraft Center this fall.
