Interested in expanding your vocabulary? Have a favorite word that you wish would be used a little bit more? Then pay a visit to Wayne State’s Word Warriors website.

Word Warriors is a list of words that readers feel should be brought back into common usage. Old-fashioned sayings and underappreciated modern gems are all welcome on the site, where readers can vote on which words they feel best merit increased use. Adventurous Word Warriors can also submit words to be included on the list.

At the end of the year, votes will be tallied and a list of the top 10 underappreciated words will be compiled for readers to start working into their daily dialogue. See the entire list, vote for your favorites or submit your own words at wordwarriors.wayne.edu

Please submit your word(s) by Dec. 15 to be considered for the 2014 list.
